As expected, there were some GEMS at the Matches Fashion AW13 Press Day! So many great trends, items and collaborations to look forward to picking up later this year.

The leather trend is not going anywhere people… I repeat the leather trend is not going any-where! From leather skirts, to dresses to jumpsuits, designers are finding every possible way to get leather in our wardrobes! And I’m not complaining! I love this trend.

Estelle looked gorgeous in a halter neck leather jumpsuit around this time last year, when she attended the Sundance Film Festival. Pairing it with a printed scarf worn as a turban, metallic floor-length shawl and black pumps, the singer manages to soften what would otherwise be quite a hard look.

The lovely Karen from Where Did U Get That chose a more sporty leather jumpsuit; long-sleeved and preppy. The New York-based blogger paired her ASOS jumpsuit with wedged sneakers, leopard print Zara jacket (in hand), cobalt blue Rebecca Minkoff shoulder bag and a wooly beanie.

Both looks are well put together, but who does it for ya – Estelle or Karen?

Fever, a London-based brand, have so many great vintage-style pieces, which are perfect for achieving both a day and night classic look in-one! So if you’ve got a hot date right after work, or a night out on the town with the girls, this look from their online store would work perfectly!

Blazers always smarten up a casually chic look and work well with a number of day/work looks. Dark-coloured blazers are the easiest to take a day look to a night one, so this navy blazer paired with that gorgeous, slinky pastel blue tank, together create a trendy combo. Loosing the blazer at night would take your look from classy to sassy!

Printed pants are all the rage at the mo, with the preferred length short and ankle-skimming. For work you could wear these amazing white and navy Fever trousers full length, but as soon as that clock hits Six, roll them babies up a notch and hit the town!

I’m a sucker for casual chic!

I feel my sexiest when I’m dressed down, so when I stumbled across these uber stylish day looks from Kim Kardashian and Rochelle Humes, I instantly fell in love! Both outfits are sooo cute and would totally slot right into my wardrobe! There isn’t  a thing I’d change about Kim’s look; from the shades, right down to the shoes! Same goes for Rochelle! I want it all!
