TRY THE TREND: THE PRINTED PANT – DAY TO NIGHT

feverdesign1

Fever, a London-based brand, have so many great vintage-style pieces, which are perfect for achieving both a day and night classic look in-one! So if you’ve got a hot date right after work, or a night out on the town with the girls, this look from their online store would work perfectly!

Blazers always smarten up a casually chic look and work well with a number of day/work looks. Dark-coloured blazers are the easiest to take a day look to a night one, so this navy blazer paired with that gorgeous, slinky pastel blue tank, together create a trendy combo. Loosing the blazer at night would take your look from classy to sassy!

Printed pants are all the rage at the mo, with the preferred length short and ankle-skimming. For work you could wear these amazing white and navy Fever trousers full length, but as soon as that clock hits Six, roll them babies up a notch and hit the town!

Be sure to stop by Fever, and take a look at the gems they have in their online store, all reasonably priced. Hey, thank me later!

camouflage-trend-2012

Hands up who think the Camouflage trend is a tricky one to try!? I’ve never owned anything camouflage (I know, all the way boring), but I love how it gets worked into daily looks! With it’s boyish streak, some girls can really make it look chic!

Ashley over at Ashes Into Fashion is challenging her readers and fashion lovers around the world to try this trend and upload their links to her post. Have a go?

POST LOVIN’: ‘LOVIN’ ON LOAFERS’ – STYLE AT A STEAL

Flats, smoking slippers, loafers… they’ve all made one hell of a comeback! Well, maybe not flats – flats never go out of fashion. But it’s def. safe to say that flat shoes, particularly loafers, have become real trendy again. I mean who would’ve ever thought we’d witness Beyonce wearing FLAT SHOES? Hold the applause my tall friends! LOL.

Kari over at Style At A Steal put together this cool post on loafers, so check it out if you’re thinking of getting a pair.

POST LOVIN’: ‘STATEMENT NECKLACES’ – BEKLEIDET

The Bib trend is still going strong, with brands like Zara, Topshop and H&M offering us fun, loud statement jewellery this Winter! So, armed with a chic minimalist outfit, let your accessories take centre stage with this cool trend!

Head on over to the original post to check out the other necklaces picked out by Jana of Bekleidet.

POST LOVIN’: ‘WIDE-LEG CROPPED PANTS’ – FASHIONOLOGIE

There’s some fashion trends that casually pass me by, simply because they don’t fit in with my personal style. Wide-leg trousers is one of them… not to mention cropped ones! However, in saying that, a good few celebs and bloggers can pull them off rather well. I can imagine trying the trend, but I’d have to cuff mine in some way (that’s the sporty chic in me).

Are you a fan? Thinking of coppin’ a pair? Fashionologie have hand-picked eight cool cropped pants for us to try this Fall/Winter!

TRY THE TREND: THE SMOKING SLIPPER

Zina of Fashion Vibe makes the Smoking Slipper trend look soo easy! Me on the other hand? I have slightly wide feet, so it’s best I stay well clear of this type of shoe! Ha!

But for those of you wanting an alternative to classic ballet flats, give this boyish trend a go! Monkia of The Doctor’s Closet‘s picked seven stylish smoking slippers…

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! WE’RE ALL OXBLOOD OBSESSED!

I’ve got to admit – when I saw this colour coming down the runway back in Feb, I was a little disturbed. LOL. Maybe it was the creepy setting at the Alexander Wang fashion show that made it worse but yeah, it’s fare to say I was a lil’ creeped out! But hey, months on and spruced up with a ton of glam, this deadly colour doesn’t look all that bad!

Check out some Oxblood street style below and head on over to Style Saint Magazine for some tips on how to rock this popular Winter trend!
