What girl doesn’t dream of one day having the pleasure of walking into a huge walk-in wardrobe, full of lush clothes, accessories and bags?
I’ve totally been playing with the idea of creating my dream wardrobe NOW, instead of storing up a ton of ideas for my future dream home. Being very ambitious, my mind tends to spend most of it’s time in the future, but I recently thought to myself “Hey, why not create that dream wardrobe now?? Like, what’s stopping me?” And just like that, I began on this fun project… literally the other day!
Picked a room in my home to convert, and started mapping out ideas of what would go where, as I was designing the space from scratch! No I don’t live in a Kardashian-like mansion, but thought, sometimes it’s actually healthy to live in the present and work with what you have now. Ya know? Why wait till I get my perfect dream home in years to come, when I could make it work right now? [Ok, that's a lot of 'Nows'!]
So here’s a bunch of pics that have inspired me prior and during “the build”…
… and this pic of Aimee Song‘s walk-in, which definitely pushed me over the edge, loool…
Loooooved this Youtube video too!
Lush! Be sure to check back to see pics of my finished walk-in space! Exciting!! [Disclaimer: Please don't expect to see an expensive, chunky wood-filled space of a walk-in wardrobe... I'm building mine on THE tiniest of budgets! £4.50 clothing rails and all that good stuff! It'll look great though!]
