Do you follow The Business Of Fashion‘s series ‘The Business Of Blogging’? A fantastic set of success stories from the world of fashion blogging. It’s totally become a ritual for me to soak up all the valuable information they manage to squeeze from these amazingly successful bloggers, like Leandra of The Man Repeller.
Out of all the bloggers turned “celebs”, Leandra tops my list. She’s been blogging for just over two years, cleverly differentiated her blog from the crowd from the very beginning, subsequently has collaborations coming out of her ears and gets over 2.5 million visits to her blog every month! And did you see her wedding pics??! Like OMG… she’s such an inspiration! I just love how she mapped out her branding way before even launching her blog, securing a solid foundation in what has become a very saturated market.
So to all my lovely readers, many of you currently working hard to make your own blog a success, do take the time to read more about how Leandra worked to get The Man Repeller to where it is today. Hopefully it will give you new ideas and inspire you to dream big.
I’ll leave you with a quote from Leandra (which I tweeted yesterday)…
“We are at a point in the evolution of blogging where only the strongest will survive — it’s Darwinism. I think the biggest fight is to stay relevant and innovative. Things get stale very quickly, especially on the Internet.”

Thank you sooo very much for this post. Not only did you introduce me to a new site, but also a wealth of information that I didn’t even know was out there.
I hope to be more like Leandra one day, and feel like I really need to just buckle down and make this passion of mine into more then a hobby.
You’re welcome – glad to have introduced you to a new blog!
Totally go for it! Blogs can be a great way to build a brand! Good luck Maisha xx
