Um, how am I only hearing about this amazing news now!?? Ok, so I’m only 7 hours late, but still!
So the news is that the ever-so-stylish Rihanna, will be designing a fashion collection with London-born high street brand River Island! Like, for me, this is beyond exciting – I LOVE River Island (and RiRi of course)! I can’t really recall the last time I was this excited about a fashion collaboration. I guess the Versace-H&M collab was rather mouth-watering… but anywho…
The Rihanna for River Island collection which will be available in stores in Spring 2013, will be the singer’s first attempt at an entire clothing line (Ri’s dabbled in fashion design with various fashion houses before, but nothing of this depth). I’m totally confident that this line will be an absolute hit and will no doubt have all her fans lusting after every piece! Rihanna states:
“I’ve been wanting to design my own collection for some time. River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family run business also really appealed to me. I find London really inspiring and River Island loves to have fun with clothes. I’m looking forward to working with them and creating something really special.”
Amazing! Literally cannot wait until the collection is revealed!
I wonder whether my Twitter friend Hayden Williams has anything to do with this? Hmmmm
